Released to great fanfare every year on the third Thursday of November, Beaujolais Nouveau will be the honored guest at wine events around the world. If you are in NYC, Rue des Beaujolais is THE event to attend. A day long celebration hosted by L'Express restaurant, the festivities include Georges Duboeuf Beaujolais Nouveau , a book signing with culinary legend Jacques Pepin, live music by Franglais, all-inclusive meals (lunch $25 & dinner $35 - wine included), and more. The event will be live streamed on big screens in NY and Lyon.

This year's theme is "Come to the Cabaret" and features cocktails, dinner, silent & live auctions, a fashion show (showcasing fall looks from Tracy Reese and other designers) and much more. Founded in 1996 by former model and stylist Deborah Koenigsberger, Hearts of Gold has raised more than $2 million in support of NYC shelters - impressive!
