His & Hers explores the relationship between gender and fashion over the past 250 years. The exhibition includes a seemingly “feminine” 18th-century man’s velvet suit and a woman’s “power suit” from the 1980s. Other works include innovative designers such as Giorgio Armani, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Gianni Versace, and Vivienne Westwood.
Cherry Blossom Season at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden

This spring, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden celebrates Japanese culture and horticulture and remembers the victims of the earthquake and its aftermath in Japan. Hanami at BBG is a month-long celebration that celebrates the Japanese cultural tradition of enjoying each moment of the cherry blossom season.
Tartan Week

This celebration of Scottish-American heritage includes whisky tasting, a tartan exhibition at Ellis Island, tribute to Scottish music, a fashion show, a parade up Sixth Avenue, handsome men in kilts, and more!
NYC Vegetarian Food Festival

Italian Wine Tasting at Bacchus

Do you love Italian wine? If so, don't miss this great tasting event. Barbera or Barolo, Sangiovese or Chianti, Italy has a wine for every taste and occasion. Taste for yourself at Bacchus - a great wine shop on the Upper West Side. Each participant will receive a beautiful Riedel Crystal stem from which to drink and to take home at the end of the evening - nice!
