My Grandmother warned me. She said pounding the pavement day after day in skinny high heels would take a toll on my tootsies. Ouch, was she right. But hey, even Lady Gaga occasionally has trouble managing super high heels - poor thing took quite the tumble at Heathrow Airport over the summer.
These days, when I go shopping, I look at the height of the heel before the price and will gladly pay more for a shoe that is comfortable AND stylish.
