Here are Kate's fabulous tips!
Rosebud Salve ($6): You can find it at Sephora. It's fantastic because you can use it for just about ANYTHING...dry lips, dry hands, skin irritation... I mainly use it as a lip balm, but have been known to use it as a cuticle or hand cream & it saves you from having to bring lotion as well.
MAC Fast Response Eye Cream ($30): It's a caffeinated cream that's meant to reduce puffiness under the eyes. I've also found this works WONDERS if you take the teeniest dab under your already made up eyes to 'reactivate' your makeup eliminating those pesky concealer lines that are bound to come from a dehydrating flight.
Creme to Powder Foundation ($8): Cover Girl makes a great one. It's perfect for those little touch ups you may need before coming off you flight & works great as 2 products in 1.
Mascara: No matter WHAT state you’re in, a little mascara can make a world of difference. Even if you're without any other makeup on, that tiny thing will make your eyes pop & give you a slightly more 'done' look. If you have time, before traveling, I always suggest having your lashes dyed - it makes makeup that much quicker & eliminates the need for mascara in the daytime.
A Small Highlighter- be it pencil or shadow. When you need to get a little more 'done' on the go a quick swipe under your brown bone & in the inner corner of your eye takes you from tired to polished in about 30 seconds.
